Teaser

When Koenig is severely injured in an Eagle crash, Dr. Russel battles to save him. But inside his head, Koenig is fighting a different battle. He believes himself to be on the planet Zenno, where a scientist named Raan is using him as an anthropological specimen. When Koenig becomes involved with Raan's beautiful daughter Vana, he must fight against his desire to stay on the planet Zenno or he may never survive to live again on Moonbase.
Synopsis
Eagle One suffers a massive power loss due to an unknown force that seemed to pull it down towards a planet that it was investigating, forcing it to return to Alpha, On it's way back the control systems shut down and they crash on the lunar surface.

Koenig walks back to the base, after Eagle Four passes over head ignoring his attempts at communication, only to find it empty. Meanwhile, we see his badly injured body still in the cockpit of Eagle One. Alpha sends a rescue Eagle to help the injured crew.

Alan Carter and Victor Bergman survived the crash with relatively little harm, but Sandra and the Commander are both unconscious. When it is deemed unsafe to move the them, a cargo Eagle is dispatched to tow the command module back to the base.

John meets his host Raan, the foremost anthropologist of the planet Zenno, who explains that Koenig has been brought to Zenno so that he may be studied, because he is believed to be the "missing link" in the evolutionary ladder of the highly advanced Zennites.

John tries to explain to Raan's daughter Vana, that it is wrong to keep him there against his will, and she in turn tries to explain the benefits of him staying. They fall in love and Koenig opts to stay. Raan is obviously upset at the idea of his daughter falling for an "Earthman".

Raan then tries to get John to want to return to Alpha, by letting him know that the projected image that Raan created and sent to there, was dying, and that once that happened, John could never return. When that is not effective, he brings Sandra to tell him that the base is in turmoil in his absence. After some soul-searching, Koenig decides that his place is on Alpha with his own kind and that it was not really feasible to try to cross the millions of years of evolution between himself and Vana. But he must return to Alpha before Helena disconnects the life support systems keeping his "body" alive. He explains to Vana that as long as she keeps him in her heart and in her thoughts, that they will always be together. He returns to Alpha seconds after the life support is disconnected and awakens with his memories of Zenno.
